Sonya & Mike: A lovely summer wedding

Sonya and Mike celebrated their wedding in a park (named after Sonya's uncle). It was a gorgeous day, and the ceremony was beautiful. At one point during the ceremony, Sonya and Mike hugged their parents and attendants. I thought that was incredibly sweet.

Sonya and Mike arrived at the reception in a red-and-white pickup truck!

Dinner was outdoors, under some tents. I love the recent trend of displaying family photos at wedding receptions.

It threatened to rain for a while...but one of the guest's tradition of sticking silverware in the ground put an end to that! Honestly, it worked!

The reception continued with shuffle board, dancing, a ridiculously fun photo booth, and an auction. Yes, that's right, an auction. Sonya auctioned off her garter belt! I can't explain how much fun their guests had - you'll just have to see it on their faces in these photos.

It was really all the details that made their wedding so special.

Congratulations Sonya & Mike!
