My illustrations featured on Doubly Happy and Weddingbee!

I'm so excited - Amanda, also known as Mrs. Hot Cocoa on Weddingbee, featured my illustration work on both her blog and Weddingbee today. I created the illustration above after being inspired by one of her gorgeous wedding photographs.

Erin & Jack: Engaged!

I met Erin in graduate school (she is a fabulous food photographer). She's got the greatest style, and is always so much fun to be around! Jack is amazing, too. The best part of doing their engagement shoot was seeing how much he made Erin laugh. Every gesture, look or kiss made Erin break into a smile.

 Congratulations Erin & Jack!

So much snow.

I think that all the snow, ice and rain today is trying to tell me something. It's going to be winter for a long time. So I'm working on some fabulous new engagement photos to help me enjoy the cold and embrace the mountains of snow outside. Expect more from this fun couple soon!

With all the snow on the ground, I am really missing summertime. I can't wait for sundresses and picnics in the park...

Lindsay & Steve: A New Year's Eve Wedding!

Lindsay and Steve decided to tie the knot on December 31, 2010. I'm so excited for them - they are going to forever have a fabulous New Year's Eve, whether they have a party to attend or not! The wedding was beautiful. The church was stunning, and the reception was filled with joy. It was one of those weddings where you could feel how happy the guests were for the bride and groom.

Of course, a winter wedding in Minneapolis means cold! Lindsay carried her grandmother's muff and wore a gorgeous fur capelet to match.

Her bridesmaids carried candles down the aisle instead of flowers, and they each wore a beautiful fascinator in their hair.

That's Lindsay's dad. Awesome.

They had gift bags for with games and stickers for the children at the reception, which were out on display with the photographs from our engagement session this summer! Click here to see more of those shots.

Milk and cookies as the night progressed...Yum!

As midnight approached, the guests put on hats and had noisemakers!

Congratulations, Lindsay and Steve!
