Leah & Tom's Anniversary Shoot

Leah and Tom had a small wedding on Governor's Island two years ago. They've since moved to Chicago, but decided to celebrate their two year anniversary with a weekend in New York and a photo shoot with me! So we jumped on the ferry to revisit the exact spot where they tied the knot.

I'm in love with Leah's ring! They had it created based on a ring they saw at Doyle & Doyle, but instead of diamonds, Leah's ring has sapphires, which is her birthstone.

On the day of their wedding, Leah and Tom walked down these stairs to meet their guests. The ceremony was conducted under a couple of trees, and had an amazing view of Manhattan.

Leah and Tom rode bicycles around the island on their wedding day, with Leah in her white dress. For our session, she wore the greatest black-and-white outfit! I love the back details.

Congratulations on two years, Leah and Tom!

Brooke & Van's Wedding

Brooke and Van scheduled the loveliest wedding in Wilmington, Delaware. The ceremony was held in the awe-inspiring First and Central Presbyterian Church, and the amazing reception was located at the Dupont Country Club. The wedding was filled with sunny bursts of yellow and lots of greenery for spring - Brooke's mother made close to 100 terrariums to decorate the reception! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.

Under his suit, Van wore the T-shirt he was wearing on the day he met Brooke! He also wore his grandfather's watch for the ceremony.
We recreated the iPhone shot from their fabulous engagement shoot!

 Signing the marriage license!
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Brooke and Van had a cake to celebrate their guests' wedding anniversary!
Love the idea of flowers as favors for the guests! Guests were also able to take home Brooke's mother's fabulous terrariums.
Congratulations Brooke and Van! Such an amazing wedding.
